Bitweaver is a free and open source web application framework and content management system. Its speed and power are ideal for large-scale community websites and corporate applications, but it is simple enough for non-technical small site users to set up and administrate. It comes fully featured on install but is modular and easy to extend.

Release 2.7 Is Here!

A CMS for me and a CMS for you, I like a little bitweaver in my stew. This is our last major version for the Release 2 cycle, we are now pushing onto Release 3. This release of course includes a number of bug fixes and core updates, see the cvs mailing list for various patches that have been made. A significant update worth mentioning is that styling sites with css has been greatly simplified with new core feature css base files. We take care of the structure and browser compatibility, you take care of the pretty colors. Also in this release we've upgraded the javascript and css packing to utilizing the YUI Compressor.
